Should You Go to College?

Having done with high school, most of us are either relieved or worried. Most often, we are relieved from the thought that high school days are over and it is time to face something different. We get excited at the idea that we will be tackling something new and loving the kind of freedom along with it. College life steals you away from the given comforts of your home to a new phase where you’ll have to find the comforts yourself. So while pushing yourself for higher education, you are learning to live independently. For others who are lucky, college life is easy. They can choose what school to go and what course to take, their parents would always back them up with adequate moral and financial support. On the other hand, for others who are less lucky, college life can be tough. Facing college is a vexing choice. Not knowing where to go or what to do because they have no means of financial support, which is a fundamental requisite for any college education. Attaining college education requires a great deal of money and if you don’t have it, well you can always choose to let it pass for awhile, but time is precious you can’t let it pass you by. The stress that comes from knowing you have no means to get by clouds your future goal. Without college education, your dreams and hopes for tomorrow falter and you may fall short of your expectations. It can be hard. You do not want to let that happen, in fact you cannot let it happen. In order to avoid the dilemma you resort to the diverse alternatives that somehow will put you in college regardless of what you lack. The scholarship funds and scholarship sponsors are always there you can opt for it. Or perhaps practice a school sport you can do so well in exchange for free financial obligations academically. But if that’s not how you make it through there are scholarship exams (you ought to pass) that may grant your tuition fee free! They say quality education is quality expensive. Well, it’s true. But there are many affordable state colleges out there that offer the same quality education that good private universities do. Real education has nothing to do with the name of the school, but it does have something to do with you. Choose your school wisely, one that suits you perfectly, and prepare you with what you need to live your dream out in the real world someday. You just have to do your part.
